40 Days of Prayer & Life Group Launch
We want to be a congregation where seeking God in prayer is our first response because we believe that prayer changes everything.
We would love for you and your entire family to join us on this 40-Day Prayer initiative from January 4th-February 12, 2025.
Each week we will address one topic and take an in depth look at a biblical character who modeled how to pray in that specific arena. We will also gather every Tuesday evening to pray and worship together.
As a church, we have set apart this important season for prayer and fasting. We are also creating a Prayer Guide that will have individual journaling, corporate prayer opportunities, and Life Group questions.
Additionally, you may CLICK HERE to join a Life Group for this series.
NOTE: Everyone is welcome to participate in these 40 Days of Prayer - even if you choose not to register for a Life Group!

Belonging
Do you feel like you’re on the outside looking in? Join us to spend time finding your place and discovering your purpose!
Our upcoming session is Saturday, January 11th from 9am-Noon.
Here at Plymouth Covenant we want everyone to belong. Belonging is not just visiting the church, or knowing about our mission; it is taking the steps to go from being a stranger to becoming family. We want our church to become your place where you connect with our family, grow in your walk with the Lord, and make a difference in the world around you.
In Belonging you will learn about the three strategic rhythms of the Great Commission, the mission and vision of Plymouth Covenant Church, and how you can become part of something bigger than yourself. Welcome Home! You belong here!

Infant Baptism
PLEASE NOTE: On February 16th at 9am, there will be a parent class on Infant Baptism. Parent participation in this class is REQUIRED in order to participate in the ceremony.
Sign up here to baptize your infant
Infant Baptism is a service for parents who desire for their infant to be baptized. They believe that Infant Baptism “is a sign and seal of the new covenant in Jesus Christ whereby God cleanses our sin and welcomes us into the family of God.” (See Infant Baptism and Dedication Brochure by The Evangelical Covenant Church) We ask that parents who are choosing Infant Baptism also commit to raising their child in the love of Christ. They, with God’s help and the help of the Church community, desire to be examples of God’s grace and love. They are anticipating the day when their child will make a personal commitment to love, follow, and serve Jesus.

3000 Acts of Kindness
Let's show some Christmas love in our city again this year!
Here is our chance to show some Christmas love to people in the Minneapolis area again this year! We want our church family to give generously of our time as we serve at the 3,000 Acts of Kindness event in December.
3,000 Acts of Kindness, a one-day event on December 9, 2024, at the Minneapolis Convention Center, provides a day of hope and dignity to ask many as 4,000 homeless individuals in the Twin Cities. The event will provide each guest with a meal, haircut, necessities (i.e. toiletry kits, winter jackets, hats), and access to agencies and services.
We need hundreds of volunteers again this year to prep for and provide the day of hope and dignity to the Twin Cities homeless community. Plymouth Covenant Church has been a great support of this event in the past and the need is even greater this year. Let's show up big from PCC!
Sign up HERE to set up on Sunday December 8th or to serve at the event on Monday December 9th!

Cross Training School
Our church functions better when Jesus is at the center, we are being transformed by Jesus and our entire church is fully mobilized to reach the person who does not have a relationship with God. Participants will be prepared to go out into the Plymouth, Maple Grove, and the surrounding areas to make disciples.
Cross Training School is a series of 5 core classes designed to equip adults. These 5 core classes can be studied in any order. We want everyone to take all 5 core classes, so eventually they will all be offered and repeated. These 5 core classes are intentionally designed to prepare adults with the necessary skills to follow Jesus and make disciples.

3000 Acts of Kindness - Bag Purchasing
Let's show some Christmas love in our city again this year!
Here is our chance to show some Christmas love to people in the Minneapolis area again this year! We want our church family to give generously in two ways: 1) towards the purchase of laundry bags 2) of our time as we serve at the 3,000 Acts of Kindness event in December.
This year the 3000 Acts of Kindness team has asked us to partner by providing 4,000 large and sturdy laundry bags for the guests. Guests of 3000 Acts are blessed with so many great items and carrying all of those items can be difficult. These bags will be a tremendous blessing to each guest. You can purchase bags at any time on the church app by selecting "Give", then "Church Initiative Deductible" or join us in the foyer after all services between November 2nd-17th.
1 Bag $15 30 Bags $250
5 Bags $65 50 Bags $350
10 Bags $100 75 Bags $500

Child Dedication
Child Dedication is a service for parents who want the blessing of God on their child, but believe baptism is reserved for those who make the choice to be baptized by immersion later in life. In choosing to dedicate their child to Christ, parents are committing and declaring their desire to dedicate their child to the Lord. Their commitment is to raise their child in the love of Christ. They, with God’s help and the help of the Church community, desire to be examples of God’s grace and love. They are anticipating the day when their child will make a personal commitment to love, follow, and serve Jesus.
Registration is now closed.

Life Group Launch
We find ourselves living in a strange land where everywhere we look people are discouraged. Frustration is growing and angry people are resorting to violence and anarchy. Our culture is becoming more divided every day and unwilling to have respectful dialogue or work toward solutions.
Click here to join us for eight weeks as we look under the hood and talk about the important values that drive us.
We can honor God, treat people well, and make a significant difference in a hurting world if we lean into our values and trust our powerful God who has a remarkable future for us. We can flourish in less-than-ideal circumstances even when a growing number of people no longer share our values, priorities, or beliefs.
