Vision, Mission, Values, & Beliefs
VISION
Our Vision is to see our church, city, and world encounter Jesus and be transformed forever.
Mission
Our Mission is to be followers of Jesus who go and make disciples through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Values
-
We want Jesus at the center of all we do. Apart from Him, we can do nothing. We gather on the weekends to encounter Him corporately. We are intentional in our personal relationships with Jesus by prioritizing practices of worship, prayer, reading and meditation on scripture, and gathering with other believers.
John 15:4-9, 1 John 2:6, Luke 10:38-42
-
Our surrendered lives are changed from the inside out. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we no longer conform to the ways of the world, but instead, our lives are holy and pleasing to God. We embrace the lifelong process of sanctification. We are new creations. We love others radically and press into deep, meaningful relationships. His presence sets us apart.
2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 2:20, Romans 12:1-2
-
We don’t want to be merely hearers of the Word, but doers of it. In step with His Spirit, and with the armor of God, we look for ways to do what Jesus did in our everyday lives. We take the time to see the people around us as Jesus sees them. We want to share Jesus with others, teach His ways, and extend His love here, near, and far.
John 12:26, John 14:12-14, Matthew 4:19
Beliefs
-
We believe there is only one God who is creator and sustainer of all things. He is perfect, loving, good, just and holy. He alone is worthy of our worship and devotion. He is the eternal and personal God who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
