Casting Call for our Christmas Musical "The Mystery of the Manger"

Performance dates for the musical are December 16 at 6:30pm and December 17 & 18 at 7:00pm.  Auditions will be held on Sunday, October 3 at 12:15 in the Refinery.  Actors 3rd grade and older are welcome to register to audition.  Actors should come prepared to sing the first verse of "Away in a Manger."

A kick-off for the musical will be held on Sunday, September 26 at 3:00pm in the Refinery.  Come to this event to hear more from Director Nina Stultz about the musical, available roles, and practice and performance times and dates.

"FIRST" COMMUNION CLASS September 1, 2010

"First" Communion Class

6:30-7:30pm in the KidNation Kids Area

Parents and their kids are welcome to join us for this time of exploring the meaning behind the sacrament of communion.  While the class is not required in order for kids to participate in communion at Plymouth Covenant, it does provide a great way to prepare together for the first time kids choose to receive communion.  Taught by Children's Pastor Sara Sosa, this class will be a fun way for families to learn about communion by looking at the example set for us by Jesus and, later, by his follower Paul. 

This class is scheduled just before our September communion weekend (Sep 4 & 5) which is being specially designed for families.  It will be a unique opportunity to welcome kids and families to communion together.
