UPCOMING EVENTS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

July 16-24 We are heading to Nicaragua this summer for mission trip. We have 71 students from PCC, 4 from TreeHouse and 2 from Believers in Christ church along with about 14 adult leaders. We will be in Nicaragua from July 16th-24th. Pray for us!!!

August 11th - Lake Day - We will have a great time, playing, swimming, tubing, in fellowship, in song and reflection out at a local lake...we will identify the lake at IGNITE! There are creepers out there you know!!!

Wednesday Night 7:30-9:15pm - Beginning in January we will be embarking on a journey to help students overcome some of their "Hurts, Hang-ups and Habits," in an effort to create more MOVEMENT, IMPROVEMENT and ABANDONMENT for the Lord. God has called us to move in His direction...He says, "Come to me!" The Apostle Paul said, "My friends may you grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior" He challenges us to improve...and finally throughout all of scripture God seeks those who would give their all. It is not enough to raise our hands and say we believe in Jesus, we need to raise our hands and say we are living like Jesus! That is what we will be focusing on this Fall and for that matter the entire year. 

It is not enough to come to church, pray and read our Bibles. A love relationship with Jesus moves us from coming to church to being the church, from praying for others needs to meeting those needs, from reading our Bibles to doing what the Bible says regardless of the outcome! We need MOVEMENT!

Saturday Night 750 - from 7:50-8:50 the senior high students gather for an in depth Bible study. This Summer we will be studying the Book of James.

 
FlashPoint is a place for students to serve according to their passions, gifts and desire. We believe the best youth ministry is the youth ministry that is led by students using their gifts for God's glory and that is what FlashPoint is! Each team includes training, encouragement and opportunities to put their gifts into practice. We have 4 teams upon which students may serve:
1. Mission Team - research, choose, plan, pray and lead service opportunities for students in our community and beyond,
2. Prayer Team - pray for direction of the ministry, students to be awakened and transformed, realities students and others may face and a focus on Evangelism,
3. Hands Team - they are the aroma of the group and make sure people are welcomed, cared for and help where needed,
4. Small Group/Teaching Team - they will give stories during IGNITE, lead small groups and perhaps teach.

FlashPoint is the place that the ignition begins and we believe students are at their best when they are lighting others on fire through service and ministry!
